Atlas Copco Compressor

Complete turnkey Compressor installation at Unity Mine, Neath Valley

Project Description

L&J designed the new compressor house and decided its location with Unity Mine. L&J excavated and cleared the selected area, laid the new concrete slab and adjoining plinths. L&J manufactured and constructed the structural steelwork to give the skeleton of the compressor house.

The ATLAS COPCO Compressors were then unloaded and positioned within the new building. L&J then manufactured all of the thin walled stainless steel pipework, and supplied new isolation valves and condensation pipework. L&J designed and built the bespoke control panels and cable ducts and cables were fitted. The building was then completed with cladding fitted and louvers and doors fitted. L&J fitted all new galvanised steel ducting to extract the compressors hot air.
